Christopher Gavin

The death has occurred of Christopher Gavin, Ashwood Glade, Westport, Co. Mayo, suddenly at Mayo University Hospital.

 

Predeceased by his grandfather Sean Donoghue.

 

Christopher will be greatly missed by his heartbroken family, his parents Michael & Karen (née Donoghue late of Killala), his twin brother Michael, sisters Cathy & Emma, his nephew & godchild Thomas, grandparents Monica Donoghue, Chris & Ethel Gavin (Peter St.), aunts Maura Gavin, Fiona Donoghue, Gail Gallagher & Anita Dooley, uncle Paul Donoghue, cousins, relatives, neighbours, friends, classmates & staff in Rice College & his Westport GAA family.

Reposing at McGing's Funeral Home (F28 RX58) on Friday (May 02nd) from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. THE PUBLIC QUEUE FOR ENTRY INTO THE FUNERAL HOME WILL NOW BE FROM THE SHOP STREET DIRECTION.

 

Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 11:00am on Saturday (May 03rd) in St. Mary’s Church, Westport with funeral proceeding to Aughavale Cemetery.
