AHERNE (Cork): On June 29th, 2025, peacefully, in her 101st year at Douglas Nursing Home, CECILIA (née McNamara), Connaught Avenue, dearly loved wife of the late Ted and much loved mother of Deirdre (O’Driscoll), Mary (O’Keeffe), Pat, Cecilia (Pearson) and Frank and loving mother-in-law of the late Paddy and Pat.

Sadly missed by her loving family, daughters-in-law Sheila and Marie, son-in-law Mark, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

Reposing at the Temple Hill Funeral Home, Boreenmanna Road of Jerh. O’Connor Ltd; On Tuesday (July 1st) from 4.00pm to 5.00pm.

Requiem Mass at 11.30am on Wednesday (July 2nd) in the Sacred Heart Church, Western Road which can be viewed
