Catherine (Triona) Reilly (née Hoey), Wren’s Cottage, Grange, Knockbridge, Co. Louth. Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in Dundalk Care Centre, Silverstream, on Thursday, 11th September 2025. Predeceased by her parents, James and Kathleen Hoey, Triona was the beloved and devoted wife of Vincent, a wonderful Mam to Fiona, Paul, Jim, and Ruth, a cherished Grandma to Leila, Liam, Josh, Eoin, Fia, and Zach, and a loving sister to Pat. She will be sadly missed by her sons-in-law Donal and Ronan, Jim’s partner June, Paul’s partner Anne, extended family, and her many dear friends. Her warmth, kindness, and unwavering love touched everyone who knew her.

May Triona Rest in Peace.

Catherine will repose at McGeough’s Funeral Home, Jocelyn St (A91 XW66) from 3pm to 6pm on Friday 12th September. Funeral Mass on Saturday afternoon, 2pm in St Joseph’s Redemptorist Church (A91 F3FC). Burial afterwards in St Fursey’s Cemetery, Haggardstown.
