Catherine (Kay) O’Gorman nee Madigan

Late of Cooleen, Kill, Co. Waterford.

Formerly of Larchville, Waterford City.

Kay passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family.

Sunday the 27th of July 2025

 

Predeceased by her beloved husband Pat.

 

Kay will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her children Thomas, Michelle, Annette, Tony, Ruth and Edel; all her adoring grandchildren and all her treasured great-grandchildren and her loving sisters Philie and Christina. Kay will be forever remembered by all her in-laws; nieces and nephews, relatives, extended family, wonderful neighbours, and many friends.

 

The O’Gorman family would like to thank with great appreciation all the staff in Medical 4 and the Oak Ward in University Hospital Waterford for the exceptional care and kindness Kay received throughout her illness.

 

May her gentle soul rest peacefully

 

Kay will be reposing at her daughter Annette’s residence X91DH6N on Tuesday the 29th of July from 6pm to 8pm.

House private outside of reposal time please.

 

Kay’s Requiem Mass will take place on Wednesday the 30th of July, at 11am at The Sacred Heart Church, The Folly, Waterford City. Anyone wishing to take part in Kay’s Requiem Mass remotely please follow the link below.

As per Kay’s wishes a Private Cremation Service will take place in The Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Co. Cork later that day
