Catherine (Kay) Lonergan
(née O'Brien)
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Catherine (Kay) Lonergan (née O’Brien), Grange Road, Knocklong, Co. Limerick and formerly of Tipperary Town, who passed away peacefully at her home on 31st October 2025, surrounded by her loving family, after a long illness bravely borne.
Sadly missed by her loving husband William (Butch), son Graham, daughter Bridget (Hanrahan), son-in-law William and daughter-in-law Carmel. Treasured grandmother of Shane, Saoirse, James, Elaine, Gemma and Grace. Lovingly remembered by her brother William, sisters Marian and Eileen, sisters-in-law, nrothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and a wide circle of wonderful friends.
Kay’s warm presence, conversation and kindness touched all who knew her.

Reposing at her home, Grange Road, Knocklong (V35C968), on Sunday, 2nd November, from 2pm to 6pm.
Private cremation ceremony will take place on Monday, 3rd November.
