Canice Farrell

Canice Farrell, Knockatrina House, Durrow, Co. Laois and formerly of Damerstown, Castlecomer, Co. Kilkenny. Canice passed away peacefully at his residence, surrounded by his loving family, on Thursday 4th September, 2025.

Predeceased by his brothers and sisters.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Lena, children Marette, Anita, Canice and Edwina, son-in-law James and daughter-in-law Liz, his adored and cherished grandchildren, Sadhbh and Sennan, sister Lily and brother Sean, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at Knockatrina House, on Saturday 6th September, from 2pm, pausing for Prayers at 8.30pm.

Removal on Sunday 7th September at 11.30am for Funeral Mass in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Castlecomer, at 12.30pm followed by burial in Durrow cemetery (R32CK11) approximately 2pm.

Family time on Sunday morning please.
