The death has occurred of Brigid (Bridie) Kearney, (née Early), Aughavas, Co Leitrim and formerly of Carrowtrasna, Carrowmore, Lacken, Ballina, Co Mayo, Sunday 6th April 2025, peacefully in her 85th year, at home surrounded by her loving family.
Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Mary Kate Early.
Sadly missed by her husband Jim, daughters; Teresa, Caroline (Martin), Ann (Padraig), sons; Michael (Ursula), Johnny, Anthony (Orlaith), her 26 grandchildren; Michael, Sean, Colum, Lisa, Rebecca, Lorraine, Joey, Mark, Pearse, Aoibhe, Tommy, Michaela, Katie, Madison, Sarah, Charlie, Sam, Matthew, Darren, Kerris, Bella, Amelia, Kaiden, David, Donnacha, Cara, Conor and her three great grandchildren; Diarmuid, Harper and Gearoid.
May Brigid’s Gentle Soul Rest in Peace
Brigid’s remains will repose at Smiths Funeral Home, High Street, Ballinamore, Co Leitrim on Tuesday 8th April 2025 from 6pm – 8pm. Brigid’s Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday 9th April at 12 noon in St Joseph's church Aughavas followed by burial in Aughavas old cemetery.
