Breda Doran (née O’Hara) of Cluain Buí, Quinagh, Carlow and formerly of Ballinacarrig, Carlow and Carrowmore, Co Sligo, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on June 11th 2025, under the wonderful care of the nurses and staff of Hillview Nursing Home, Carlow

Beloved wife of Michael, much loved mother of Stephanie, Mark and Peter and adored grandmother of Saoirse, Croíadh, Seímí, Conall, Robyn, Cathal, Laoise and Niamh.

She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, daughter, grandchildren, son-in-law Colin, daughters-in-law Andrea and Laura, brothers Michael and Stephen, sisters Mary, Irín, Carmel and Dymphna, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May Breda’s Gentle Soul Rest In Peace.

Reposing at Carpenter Bros Funeral Home, Shamrock Sq (Eircode R93 C863) on Friday (June 13th) from 4pm until 7pm that evening. Funeral Mass on Saturday at 11am in The Holy Family Church, Askea, followed by burial afterwards in Ballinabranna Cemetery, Carlow.
