Betty Nolan (née Kelly) of Monacurragh House, Carlow and formerly Clonee, Athy, Co Kildare, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family, on October 28th, 2025, at her daughter’s home.

Beloved wife of Liam, much loved mother of John, Elma, Michelle, Barry and Mona, adored grandmother of Jacqui, Cormac, Evan, Aaron, Ryan, Nicole, James, Tadhg, Harry, Sophia, Alex, Lauren, William and the late Martha, and treasured sister of Mona (Dunphy), Paddy and the late Geraldine (Cole), Leo and Mick.

She will be sadly missed by her loving husband, sons, daughters, grandchildren, sons-in-law Declan, Paddy and Patrick, daughters-in-law Simone and Jennifer, brother, sister, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.

May Betty’s Gentle Soul Rest In Peace

Reposing at Carpenter Bros. Funeral Home, Shamrock Square, Carlow (Eircode R93 C863) from 4pm on Friday, October 31st concluding with prayers at 7pm that evening.

Funeral Mass on Saturday (November 1st) in The Cathedral of the Assumption, Carlow at 10.30am followed by burial afterwards in St Mary's Cemetery, Carlow.
