Benedict Doyle

The death has occurred of Benedict Doyle, 14 Beech Drive, Drumillard, Castleblayney, Monaghan. Retired Fire Chief of Castleblayney Fire Brigade. Thursday 17th April, peacefully in the care of staff at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his parents Paddy and Kathleen, brothers Sean and Liam.

Deeply regretted by his heartbroken family, his devoted wife Margaret, sons and daughters Patrick (Patrice) Theresa (Zaf), Benny (Christina) Noeleen (Pearse) Anthony (Janeen) and Stephen (Donna), his cherished grandchildren Eleanor, Mark, Omer, Zahra, Gareth, Leah, Oisin, Oran, Niamh, Tadgh and Gerard, brother Pat (Jenny), niece Kathleen extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Benedict will repose at his home Beech Drive, Drumillard Friday 18th April from 2pm until 8pm. Benedicts’s funeral cortège will leave from his home on Saturday Morning 19th April at 10.30am to arrive at St Mary’s Church, Castleblayney (via The Old Castleblayney Fire Station) for Funeral Liturgy at 11 am followed by burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
