Austin died peacefully, at his own pace, in the wonderful care of all the staff at University Hospital Limerick, surrounded by his loving family, on Friday 31st October 2025.

Predeceased by his parents Tom and Maria, his sisters Mary, Monica and Kathleen and his brother James Gerard.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Rita (nee Carroll), his brother TJ, his nieces Martina and Majella, and their families, relatives, neighbours and friends.

A man of quiet faith, Austin had a deep devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary.

May he rest in peace.

Reposing at the Church of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Patrickswell on Monday (Nov 3rd) from 5pm, with evening prayers at 7pm.

Requiem Mass on Tuesday (Nov 4th) at 11.30am, followed by burial in the New Cemetery, Kildimo.
