Assumpta Gillen (Née Rooney) Ardnaglass, Grange, Co. Sligo – October 27, 2025, peacefully at Sligo University Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her Parents, sisters, brothers and nephews. Will always be remembered and loved by her husband Michael, daughters Mary and Ann, son John, son-in-law Seamus and her adored grandchildren Liam, Erin, Odhrán and Sionáinn. Sadly missed by her brother Noel, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at her home (Eircode F91X977) on Wednesday the 29th October from 4pm to 7pm. Funeral to arrive at the Church of Mary Immaculate, Grange on Thursday for Requiem mass at 12pm. Burial afterwards in Ahamlish Cemetery. Anyone wishing to offer their sympathies can do so on the condolence section below.
