The death has occurred of
Anthony (Tony-Darby) SHEEHY
It is with deep sadness we announce the death of Anthony (Tony-Darby) Sheehy, St. Ita’s Street, St. Mary’s Park, Limerick and more recently Athlunkard House Nursing Home, Westbury.
On October 30th 2025, peacefully, at University Hospital Limerick, surrounded by his loving family.
Pre-deceased by parents, brothers and sister.
Very deeply regretted by his sons Declan and Mark, daughter Brenda, grandchildren Sonya, Denise, Monique and Zoey, great grandchild Tommie, daughter-in-law Ber, brothers Aly, Jimmy and Juni, sister Madge, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
May he Rest in Peace
Anthony will repose at Cross's Funeral Home, Gerald Griffin Street, Tuesday, November 4th, from 3.30pm to 5pm, followed by removal to St. Mary's Church, Athlunkard Street.
Requiem Mass Wednesday, November 5th, at 12pm, funeral afterwards to Mount St. Oliver Cemetery.

The Sheehy family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the Staff of Brother Russell Home, Mulgrave Street, Athlunkard Nursing Home and to the Doctors, Nurses and Staff of University Hospital Limerick for their care and support.
