Anthony McGowan

The death has occurred of Anthony McGowan, 3 Woodview, Newtownforbes, Co. Longford and formerly of Lismore House, Longford, unexpectedly at his home on June 5th, 2025.

He is predeceased by his parents Anthony and Mary McGowan, brother Pat, sister Margaret Fox and brother-in-law Peter McGinnity.

Anthony will be sadly missed and remembered by his loving family, sister Mary (McGinnity), brothers Liam, Michael and John, sisters-in-law Patricia, Mary, Christine and Deirdre, brother-in-law Vincent Fox, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, cousins, good friends and neighbours

Reposing at Kelly’s Funeral Home, Athlone Road, Longford, (N39 K381) this Saturday June 7th from 5pm concluding with prayers at 7pm.

Funeral Mass on Sunday June 8th at St. Mary’s Church, Newtownforbes, arriving at 12:30pm,

followed by cremation service in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan (Eircode H12 RF78) arriving at 3:15pm
