Anthony McCabe

The death has occurred of Anthony (Tony) Mc Cabe, Johnstown, Collinstown, Co. Westmeath, peacefully at the Midlands Regional Hospital, Mullingar on the 26th July 2025 after a short illness bravely bourne with great dignity.

Predeceased by his parents John and Teresa, brothers Patrick and more recently Leo, nephews Brendan and Niall and sister in law Sheila. Loving brother of Michael, Sean, Liam, Brendan and Mary (Mc Clair).

Tony will be sadly missed by his brothers, sister, brother in law, sisters in law, nephews, nieces, grand-nephews, grand-nieces, cousins, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at St. Camillus Nursing Centre Chapel, Killucan (eircode N91VF51) this Monday evening from 4pm with prayers at 6pm. Funeral Mass takes place on Tuesday afternoon at 12 noon in St. Livinius Church, Killulagh (eircode N91HP66) followed by burial afterwards in Turin Cemetery.

The family would like to thank the doctors, and nurses in the Midlands Regional Hospitals in Mullingar and Tullamore and St. James' Hospital, Dublin, and the Palliative care team Caroline and Sharon for their care and attention to Tony while in their care.
