Agnes Mary Whelan (née Lawless), 71 Sefton Road, Stevenage, Hertfordshire, England and formerly of O'Moore Place, Portlaoise, Co. Laois. Died September 7th 2025, unexpectedly at her daughter's residence surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her parents Nancy (Annie) and Jack, brothers Charlie, Jim, Bill, Martin, John, sisters Anne, Julie and Nora.

Deeply regretted and will be sadly missed by her loving children, Threasa, Thomas, Johnny, Shaidine and Mark, her 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild, sisters Mary and Mag, brothers Michael and PJ, daughters-in-law, son-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and her large circle of friends in Ireland and UK.

Reposing at Guilfoyle's Funeral Home, Castletown, (Eircode R32TN84) this Friday evening (Sept 12th) from 6pm to 8pm with prayers at 8pm.

Agnes will repose at Austin's Funeral Home, 9-11 Letchmore Road, Stevenage, Hertfordshire, SG1 3JH, with her funeral taking place at a later date.

Agnes's family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the Irish Emergency Services.
